Welcome to the Community Of Peer Support Specialists. Peer Support in the mental health scene is a relatively new discipline in Singapore. So far 9 batches of persons-in-recovery have officially graduated from the course and have become Certified Peer Support Specialists. We have come together to build this community in hope of furthering the presence of Peer Support in recovery.
Some of us are working with the Institute of Mental Health. Others are working in various social service agencies and even volunteering, as we go about recovering from mental health issues ourselves.
We hope to become a beacon of hope for fellow persons-in-recovery as well as fight the stigma against mental health challenges.
